Improved DTZK-25 and -37: During the last couple of month's we have made some changes to our size 25 and 37 diecasted zinc hoods with straight cable entry. The new versions are lighter and designed to improve the die-casting process regarding burs and ejector marks. New mounting screws for DTZK37: We have changed the mounting screws for our DTZK37, so that our complete range now uses the same countersunk type. The changes will be effective from today

In the period 2008/2009 has Ossi Connectors A/S completed a project aimed to develop its skills at all levels to prepare the company for a new sales strategy with the stated target to increase the turnover by 20 million over the next 5 years. As many of our costumers know, we offer a strain releif for most of our backshell: DVZK-D1. Now we are abel to offer a unique strain relief for DVZK50 with the same flexible system to fit cables from 4 mm and up to 11 mm. More information under products -> DVZK50-D1

New distributores ACTE AS and Cableados y Conexiones S.L. (Caycon) has agreed to distribute our products on the Norwegian and Spanish market. Due to increases in customer requests for drawing specified parts, we have made investments in a new Sodick wire EDM machine.

Ossi Connectors has hired as new Sales Engineer. Mikael Nielsen joined our company February 1st. His former position has been as sales engineer within the area of electronic components for different markets. 15/01/2009     Automated packaging line.

During a three month period a new fully automated packaging line has been implemented in our plant. With this investment Ossi Connectors will be able to increase delivery capacity in combination with more precise quality. We are proud to announce that Jorgen Petersen is our new Managing Director from January 2. Former MD and founder of Ossi Connectors A/S, Ossi Carlsson, has decided to retire after more than 30 active years in the company.

10/08/2006     50-way EMI/RFI shielded Sub-D backshell

The popular DVZK-Series has expanded with the new developed backshell for 50-way connector. The partnumber will be DVZK50 and is provided with long jackscrews, cable bracket, assembly screws and 45 degree cable outlet. This in combination with excellent mechanical and EMI/RFI performance is the perfect solution for an effective cable harness. Please find more information at download section.

Shanghai Zheqin Trading Co. Ltd. has been appointed distributor for Ossi Connectors A/S in P. R. China. They will be responsible for all market activities and service to clients. More information under download section and click at newsletter 02:2006.

The organsiation at our production plant has engaged two new colleagues. Hanni Petersen will be in charge of handling client orders and booking freights. Our new quality manager RenF Nissen will be responsible for our quality management program. More information can be found at download section.

21/02/2006     Overmoulded cable strain relief

Ossi Connectors has developed from customer request a glass-fibre reinforced cable strain relief. This overmould was manufactured for an application with small space and extreme tight tolerances. This solution show our capability to provide well designed solutions for any unique overmould application

The successful DMVZK Series has been expanded with 15-way DMZK15-SL backshell. This hood is delivered with 45 degree cable outlet and designed for slidelock or panel assembly. 21/04/2005     New strain relief for 3 mm cable

Ossi Connectors has expanded the range of cable strain relieves to include also 3 mm. This unique solution now provide a flexible system to fit any round and round/flat cable from 3 to 9 mm. 07/02/2005     New Plating

Ossi Connectors has developed a new plating method. This plating for zinc die-cast backshells comply to RoHS 2002/95/EC and WEEE 2002/96/EC. Unique combination featuring excellent EMI/RFI shielding and mechanical performance with removal of nickel. This eliminate the risk of allergic reactions and no hazardous material that causes damage to the environment. More information available at download section.

03/12/2004     New EMI/RFI shielded Sub-D Backshells

Two new series DMTZK-SL and DMVZK-SL has been released. These backshells provide excellent EMI/RFI performance and are designed for applications where either 45 degree or 180 degree cable outlet is required. Screwlock system is integrated threads for slidelock or panel assembly. More information available under section Shielded Sub-D Backshells.

Ossi Connectors will participate at the exhibition Elektronik & Produktion. The show is located at Stockholm International Fairs running from February 1st to February 3rd 2005.
